GENERAL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION INFORMATION & POLICIES
MTCA MEMBERSHIP is REQUIRED to register for the conference: Towns Membership Dues MUST be paid for the current fiscal year to register for the conference. Staff members who you may attend a conference should also be included on your membership form – any staff member who would like the MTCA to keep track of their professional education credits must become an Associate Member ($25). It is recommended that you send a copy of your membership form to membershipMTCA@gmail.com when you submit it to your accounts payable for processing.

Conference Registration & Meal Forms: Please submit a Conference Registration & Meal Form for EACH person attending the conference.
- Registration Form Submittal - A copy of your online registration form will be sent to conferenceMTCA@gmail.com after you hit SUBMIT. Please note payment is REQUIRED unless cancelation is received in accordance with the MTCA’s Cancellation Policy and is not dependent on attendance.
- Payment - Add your email to the end of the online registration form to receive a copy of your registration responses. An INVOICE will emailed to you within 24 - 48 hours after your registration is submitted. Checks received in the wrong amount will be sent back for replacement – no credits will be issued for over payments. Payments should be sent ASAP, made payable to MA Town Clerks Association and sent to the address provided on the email/invoice.
MTCA Cancellation Policy - Conference registration cancelations received by the Conference Administrator 48 hours in advance of the conference shall be entitled to a credit on file for future use. Meal cancelations must be made at least seven (7) days in advance of the first day of the conference in order for a credit to be placed on file for future use, unless the hotel has a more restrictive policy. See conference registration packet and invoice for specific dates for each conference.
Class Registration: Each attendee MUST PRE-REGISTER for each class they wish to attend – please give proper thought to which class you want to attend, only register for one class per session and make note so you attend the correct session – please no walk ins. Space is NOT guaranteed as classes are on a first come/first serve bases and rooms are selected based on the # of registrants. To qualify for Professional Education Credit Tracking for your attendance to classes you must have a Membership (Active for Town Clerks, Affiliate for City’s and Associate for Office Staff).
